Pixel pitch
The distance between the centres of two neighbouring LED pixels, in millimetres.
Pixel pitch is the centre-to-centre distance between two adjacent pixels on an LED display, measured in millimetres. A 2.5 mm pitch means each pixel sits 2.5 mm from its neighbours in every direction.
Pitch drives almost everything: resolution for a given wall size (a finer pitch packs more pixels into the same area), minimum viewing distance (roughly 1 metre per millimetre of pitch), and price — cost rises steeply as pitch shrinks, because pixel count grows with the square of the reduction.
Choose pitch from the nearest realistic viewer, not from the spec sheet: if nobody stands closer than 5 metres, paying for 1.5 mm instead of 4 mm buys resolution no one can see.
