Cookie policy

Everything wikiLED stores in your browser, and which parts you control.

Last updated 28 August 2026

The short version

We set one analytics cookie by default, so we can see how the tools are used across visits. You can decline it at any time: the identifier is removed and from then on your visits are only counted without cookies, in a way that cannot recognise you from one day to the next. The rest of what we store is what makes the tool work — remembering the wall you are designing and keeping you signed in.

Strictly necessary — no consent required

Most of these are browser storage rather than true cookies, which means they are never transmitted to us — they stay on your device.

If you decline — analytics without cookies

Page views and a handful of tool events are still counted by PostHog on EU servers, in cookieless mode. Nothing is written to your browser. Instead, PostHog derives a temporary visitor number on its servers from your IP address and browser type, mixed with a secret value that is replaced every day and then deleted. That number cannot be turned back into your IP address and cannot be linked to your visits on any other day. No session recording, no click tracking, no advertising.

Changing your mind

Use the button below, or the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Declining removes the identifier immediately and switches you to cookieless counting from the next page you open.

More about what we do with the data is in the privacy policy.
